Welcome Home: Why Wholehearted Wellness Exists

You're not broken. You're just weary.

If you're a woman who loves Jesus but feels stretched thin, anxious or like you're constantly falling short. You are in the right place.

I started Wholehearted Wellness because I was tired of "Christian self- care" that felt like one more thing to do. Tired of wellness culture that worships the body but starves the soul. Tired of performing for God instead of resting with Him. If you are walking through a season of feeling rejected or less than, one book that helped me shift my perspective was Univited: Living Loved When You Feel Less Than, Left Out, and Lonely by Lysa Terkeurst. It reminded me that rejection does not have the final say. God does.

Here's what I believe:

True wellness is not a formula. For some women that looks like  5am quiet times and green smoothies, and that is beautiful. For others it looks like whispered prayers between meetings and finding peace in the middle of chaos. Both are holy. True wellness is peace that surpasses all understanding. It is knowing you are already chosen. It is knowing you are already enough because of Christ, not because of your productivity or your schedule.

Here is what you will find here.

You will find devotionals that feel like a deep breath. You will find gentle rhythms for healing your body and your spirit. You will find permission to stop striving and start abiding, whatever your rhythm looks like. You will find faith centered tools for anxiety, identity, and rest.

From time to time I may share resources I personally use and love. If I link to a product, it may be an affilate link. That means I may earn a small commission if you choose to purchase, at no extra cost to you. I only recommend what aligns with this mission of peace, healing and wholehearted faith.

There are no one-size-fits-all routines here. There is no shame.

There is only one Jesus, real talk, and a place to come home to yourself with God at the center.

I am Jeronda. I live in Williamsburg, VA. I have walked through burnout, grief, financial loss and the slow work of healing. If that is you too, welcome home.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

New posts come out every Tuesday. Let's walk this out together.
